Är du osäker på något gällande våra auktionstjänster hittar du svar på vanliga frågor här
Blinto AB conducts auctions via our online site blinto.se. We are commissioned by the sellers, our clients, to act as an agent and sell their items to the highest bidders.
Prices at the website are excluding VAT.
It is possible to place bids 24/7. All auctions close at a clearly defined time. Whenever someone places a bid just before the auction is due, the auction will be extended by three minutes each time. The winner of the auction is contacted by phone or by e-mail within three days after the auction is closed. Blinto is not to be responsible for any bids placed by mistake or any other faults caused by an individual bidder. This also applies to any technical errors preventing bids from being registered.
Blinto act as a mediator, and therefore does not own any of the items at our site. In other words: the sellers, our clients, are the ones selling the items and as a buyer you purchase them from our clients and not from us.
As a bidder, you are bound by your bid. This applies even if the so called reservation price is not reached before the auction is closed. It is possible to place an automatic bid that is hidden from other bidders. If two equal automatic bids happen to be placed, the first one will apply. Blinto is not responsible if a bid for any reason is not registered. Therefore, you as a bidder need to make sure that your bid is registered.
It is the buyer's responsibility to seek information about an item via pictures and written text published on our site. All items auctioned are sold in their current condition. If an item has a poor description, you as a bidder needs to be fully aware that the item could have hidden or unknown defects.
Items with defects
Items that are being sold with described defects have not been thoroughly overseen by Blinto's representatives. This means there could be faults or deficiencies that are not documented in text or image. Cars and pickup trucks with a value below SEK 30,000 are automatically classified as items in need of reparation. If you buy such an item, with clearly stated defects, you may not file a complaint afterwards.
All auctions have a so called reservation price, which is the minimum price the seller would accept. In every individual auction Blinto clearly states if the reservation price has been reached or not.
No warranty is provided on purchased items.
An auction fee that is paid by the winner is added to every purchase. The fee is clearly displayed in each auction.
All prices are excluding VAT, unless stated otherwise.
After winning an auction you will receive an e-mail from us confirming this. An invoice will be sent to you within 24 hours.
Payment terms for purchases within Sweden: 10 days.
Payment terms for foreign buyers: 5 days.
If we have not registered your payment on the due date, the invoice will be sent to collection right away.
There may be deficiencies in items being sold that are not known and therefore it is important to note that items are being sold in their current condition (please see "Items" and "Items with defects" above). The seller is not responsible for any errors identified after the item has been collected. If you use a third party company for transport, the retrieval of the item is considered an approved pick-up. Items sold by liquidators or other compulsory sales apply to the Swedish Consumer Contracts Act.
Collecting an item
As a buyer, you are responsible for collecting and possible dismantling an item, unless otherwise agreed. You have 15 days to collect the item after winning an auction, otherwise you are obliged to pay a fee of SEK 500 for each week that the item has not been picked up. Before you can collect an item, the invoice must be registered by us and time for pick-up must be agreed in advance. If you do not collect an item within 30 days, the purchase can be cancelled and you will be charged a fee for not following our terms.
An item purchased by a foreign buyer should be shipped immediately after pick-up. As a buyer outside of Sweden, you also need to be able to prove that the item has been shipped and present this proof upon request. If you cannot prove the shipping, Blinto may send you an invoice for VAT after the pick-up has been made.
All bids are binding, which means you have no right of withdrawal.
As a representative of our clients, Blinto is responsible for handling complaints. Always notify Blinto's customer service if you intend to file a complaint regarding a purchased item. The complaint must be reported to us before collection, regardless if you do the pick-up yourself or hire a carrier to collect the item. Also notify Blinto before you make any repairs and please provide cost suggestions. An approval from Blinto is required before you can be reimbursed for any costs. In the event of a complaint, the client or Blinto will not compensate you for direct or indirect losses.
Typing errors and technical problems

Blinto also has the right to decide whether bidding should be carried out again due to technical errors, incorrect published information or other reasons. Blinto accepts no responsibility for damage, consequential damages or costs that may be incurred by the bidder or the bidder's client due to the above, or if bids have not been registered due to technical problems or poor network connections, etc.
