Before you can place bids on blinto.se, you need to create a free account. You can register as a Swedish private individual, Swedish company, or foreign company within the EU. For Swedish users, we use BankID as the verification method. Your information is of course treated confidentially and will never be disclosed to third parties. Of course, you also read and accept our terms before you register.
When you find an interesting item, you can place a bid, either a regular bid or an auto bid. You can easily find interesting items by searching for specific names, categories, or geographical locations. An auto bid will bid for you up to the maximum amount you have specified, without you having to actively participate. The bidding process is open, allowing everyone to see the current bids during the bidding period. For each bid placed, the bidding is automatically extended by 3 minutes to give all interested parties a chance to participate.
When you are the highest bidder and the auction ends, either by meeting the reserve price or through further negotiation, you will receive a confirmation via email confirming this. An invoice will be sent to you within an hour via email to the email account you registered your bidder account with.
After you have paid the invoice, a unique code is generated, and you receive an email with the seller’s details and the information regarding the pickup of the item. It normally takes 1–2 banking days before you receive the pickup information via email. You will pick up your item at the location specified by the seller or at an agreed-upon location for pickup. Blinto does not have its own inventory.
If anything still feels difficult or unclear, we recommend that you read through our questions & answers or contact customer service.
